On Tuesday, Pancake Day was celebrated in true LICS style...parents sent in heaps of delicious pancakes (THANK YOU) with little notice and much confusion. The kids had a great time with their pancake races. In the end, the teachers either squeezed in pancake races between their literacy lessons or participated in a massive 120 student race organized by the PE department! The kids earned house points for their adroit flipping-while-running efforts and I think the event could only have been improved with a teacher/administrator 'friendly.'
